Round 12……Strikers[Darcy Hill] 1 v Chelsea 3

This was the Game of the season so far for me.

A very close contest with lots of goalmouth action both ends.

Chelsea taking the lead in the first half but strikers leveled with a great goal from Skipper Darcy Hill, 1-1 at the break

Lots more goalmouth action in the 2nd half and had “lady luck” shone a bit on Jade Moore she would have scored a hatrick, Chelsea’s goalie just clipping the ball around the post on 3 separate occasions.

The wind played a roll against us in the 2nd half pushing the loose ball towards our goal forcing our defense to work overtime.

A couple of really good Chelsea strikes flew past stand in goalie Miki Sanson who had no chance.

Miki had volunteered to keep goal for a half with Darcy also doing a half but realizing we needed Darcy on the field Miki stayed in for the game and was fantastic, thanks Miki

All in all a great game which could have gone either way

2 weeks in a row now our ladies have performed close to their full potential, this is all a coach can hope for.
