This week our Ladies were off to Elwood in what turned out to be a very good game.

4 weeks in a row now our Ladies have played close to their best.

The only thing that tried to ruin this spectacle was the wind and a very bumpy surface.

Ellie grabbed the first goal with a cool and calm finish midway through the first half.

The second goal came shortly after from Kayla who dribbled the ball from the outside left position, into the box and confidently slotted the past the keeper, great goal.

For the first time this season we had all 16 players available, even though Monica went off after only a few minutes feeling sick.

There were lots of rotations due to numbers and everyone played their part.

Notable performances of the day were [as usual] Kelly Moore and Saskia Dekker in central defense, considering the age of these two Ladies and the fact they play in tough positions, they really are doing a fantastic job.

Our “best on ground” though was Miki who plays left back but was everywhere! I have been encouraging Miki to get more involved in terms of pushing up rather than sitting in the back line waiting to defend, she did a great job.
