PREFACE
Over two decades ago Skye Rovers emerged as the new junior
soccer club on the Peninsula.
In this time we have seen the club grow to become one of Victoria's
finest ambassadors for soccer.
Statistics appear to be part of modern life and in compiling a history
of the club many hours were poured over checking, cross checking names,
and dates and more dates.
The CD-Rom section is therefore a tribute to the people and boys that
have been part of Skye Rovers / Frankston United Junior Soccer Club.
Every effort was made to record correct records and names and my thanks
are indebted to Nancy Hall, Gary Hall and importantly Laurence Hall
who spent a lot of time and effort on this project.
Apologies to certain people not listed as some records have never been
kept, this particularly applies to our Ladies/Men Auxiliary.
