Muscat, Robert Poposki and an own goal. Frankston Strikers protested
on the grounds of a refereeing error. The referee awarded Frankston
a penalty. A Frankston player encroached into the penalty area as
the kick was being taken and the referee incorrectly awarded Altona
a goal kick, rather than ordering that the penalty be re-taken.
The protest was upheld and the match ordered to be replayed on September
13, however the game was never played. |
